Become a Tutor with CJ Tutors

Teach the subjects you know best, set your own hourly rate, and work the hours that suit you. We handle the bookings, the payments and the classroom.

Why teach with CJ Tutors

Your hourly rate is yours to decide, and you keep the large majority of it.

Open only the hours you want. There is no minimum commitment and no fixed timetable.

Lessons run online through our built-in classroom, so you can teach from home.

Once you are verified, students find you by subject, level and availability. You are not chasing work.

Five steps from application to your first lesson.

1
Create your account
Sign up with your email and tell us which subjects and levels you teach, from KS3 through to degree level.
2
Complete your profile
Add your qualifications, teaching experience and a short bio. You will need photo ID and proof of your grades, plus DBS and QTS certificates where they apply.
3
Get verified
Our team reviews every application by hand. We check your documents and qualifications before your profile goes live.
4
Set your rate and availability
You choose your hourly rate and the hours you are free. Students book directly into the slots you open.
5
Teach and get paid
Run your lessons online through the platform. Earnings are paid out to your bank account monthly.

Having these ready makes the application much quicker.

Applications are reviewed by hand, usually within a few working days. You will hear from us by email either way.
